How beautiful. The objects look like they might have stepped out of the painting.
Good morning Grace. Funny you should say that as I am considering putting them into the painting!
I shall look forward to seeing the finished result!
What refreshing greens you have chosen, almost mouth-watering and I can't even smell the quince!
I'm excited about how these colours interact..
Have been returning several times today.
Stylish I think you made an almost perfect picture and at the same time, would I visit your studio, I think I would ask if I might see the painting without the vase. I am fascinated by the pink in the left hand corner.
There is so much longing promise in the painting for me it makes my heart ache.
A lot of decisions still to be made (well spotted = the spot of pink is really important to the composition.)
Intriguing juxtapositions. Those grasses already look as though they are part of the canvas. I am working with laminating tissue paper in that exact shade right now!
Will you show us more on your blog? Sounds intriguing!
Exciting to see some work in progress Freda! And loving the scale of the objects in relation to it. Am interested to see how it develops...
(P.S. Christmas has landed!)
Going slowly back to painting. My order should be with you now!!
No proper words re painting, just a visceral reaction of joy.
Thank you Gail. It is why I paint!
