I bet there is something!
..in my own cupboards, I came across this. I stitched it some decades ago (it's not my own design) and it's been in a box of odd things ever sinde. I found a little frame and put it on the shelf for a bit. I like it. What do you have in some forgotten drawer or box or cupboarrd that needs to see the light of day?
I bet there is something!

That is lovely, Freda, and should be out being seen and giving joy. I found a tile, mounted on feet, while tidying in the garage and can't quite remember why it was relegated. It now has a small indoor plant sitting on it and it is giving me a lot of pleasure. On the other hand a shopping bag I had forgotten was resurrected but only the once. The handles are too long for me to comfortably use it so it will be passed on. Shame as I was quite excited when I found it. Get well soon.

Such a perfect design for Autumn ! I am too ashamed to admit to the number of embroidery pieces that are tucked away out of sight , unframed and many unfinished projects . Your post has made me think that perhaps it's time to work on some of them once again.

Perhaps you could choose just one that reflects the season?

I simply love that piece of embroidery, Freda. When I look at past projects I made like that I think about and feel everything that was going on at the time. it is as tho I sewed the very thots and feelings and that particular present into the embroidery. Do you feel that?

Yes indeed ! I know just what you mean.....all sorts of memories , long since "forgotten" , come flooding back.

It’s nice that you get that effect, as long as the memories happy ones of course!

I can’t even remember where I was living when I made this. I have lived in a lot of different places mind you. But I get that feeling you describe with my paintings.
