The roses

believe it's summer.

I'm still pretending..

The perfume is so beautiful it almost makes me cry.

I wonder why?

Is there a smell which makes you tearful?

Apart from onions :)

The smell of fragrant roses is exquisite.

Another wonderful smell is the smell of hundreds of different types of tea mingling in the air in the Mariage Freres tea room on Bourg Tibourg in Paris. The fragrance is so powerful it's incredible and wonderful at the same time.

And the smell of salt water in the sea and the ocean is intoxicating and relaxing.

Those roses look wonderful, I'm glad something is enjoying our summer! I can't think of any smell that makes me want to cry usually smells of flowers and grass brighten my day. Sarahx

My childhood neighbour had jasmin in the garden. I remember how much I loved the fragrance. I don't think I did smell it ever after and am sure I would be moved.
Also remembered is honeysuckle in the evenings. I have a plant on my balcony, it seems to be a non smelling variety, she said with some disappointment...
And roses, is it just my imagination or do roses bought have less fragrance than roses in the garden?

A non perfumed honeysuckle would be disappointing (can you change it?) I think you are right about bought roses..
