Lovely! We are still frozen here which makes things very treacherous underfoot. I hope you are being careful not to get so taken with the view that you forget to check your footing. Still, with all that, the transformation of the 'mundane' world by this simple frost is wonderful indeed.

Now, that's what I call frost! And how very beautiful. Mind you, those frosty branches could be mistaken for reindeer antlers! (And I seem to have lent you my bistro table. That's handy!)

Looks like a whole herd of reindeer. Help, they will do in the garden. Thanks for the table. Can I keep it a bit longer?

So very beautiful, Freda, and love the smiley face. I was fascinated by the cobwebs hanging from my bins, the frost was so thick they looked like string. All gone now and up to my ankles in snow.

Cobwebs are amazingly strong! Enjoy the snow.

What a beautiful view from your window. I would never tire looking out of it. Here in Texas we had been running our air conditioning until a few days ago and the heat was needed.

I do look out of all the windows in this house constantly. Temperatures are due to rise again next week, but not so much that we will need air-conditioning!

So beautiful! I love your photos, they make me look more closely at the world. During the cold weather I saw a sheet of ice that had splintered and then grown a fringe of hoar frost round the edges, softening the sharp lines

Just caught your comment Clare. I had not heard that phenomenon called hair frost before.
