Then about 5pm I just felt this wash of energy come over me.
It can only be because of all this clearing :-)
And yesterday's paradise moment still makes me glow when I think of it.
No more boring photos of my clutter.
Promise.
..plod. Sketchbooks and notebooks. First I divided them into used/unused. I have a stack to give away and I have almost finished looking through the used ones and am throwing most of them away but for a few sketches I like. I have assimilated most of the ideas in the notebooks, and the shredder is red hot! Quite a big bag of old artwork for the recycling bin. It wasn't hard to decide what to keep and what to throw, but it took a while and I was getting very weary of it.

Amazing. Of course you’re weary....you’re not sorting factory made socks. Rather, you are deciding on keeping-tossing former sparks of inspiration and evidence of work. Pat yourself on the back

I’ve got both my feet firmly in the inspired and interested camp too, freda! Will enjoy all your photos of the spiritual work you are doing! And what i cannot wait to hear is what is in your future, now that you have cleared out so much that does not spark joy anymore!

But what if I still don't know Julia?

That's okay, too. You will at least have clear out space and that alone is worth the effort. One worry at a time.

I was reminded of the Gestalt cycle, recently, in particular the Fertile stage that occurs after one has ... felt inspired with direction, researched, prepared, leapt into productive action, accomplished a task, celebrated achieving it and then ...... encounters a stage of unsettledness, directionless, confusion about what and where next. As I understand it, that stage is part of the process that one just has to sit with, until the next inspiration forms.

Good timing, Julia. Just read that book (Letters to a Young Poet) a couple of weeks ago.
