for a few hours this morning with blue skies and rolling mist on the loch..

However it soon clouded over and it was still pretty cold, so I went to Edinburgh as I had planned to see the last day of the Elaine Pamphilon exhibition at the Open Eye Gallery.

I am still mulling over the interesting comments on yesterday's post - thank you so much.

Oh, I do like Elaine Pamphilon's work. I have never had the chance to see any originals though.

I find her work reproduces very well and although I'm glad I went to the exhibition her work in the original doesn't offer much more than in reproduction - I am glad I know that now. I also wanted to understand the scale and see the new abstracts. Others might see it differently of course....

I'm so confused about art at the moment... my own responses to it mainly. Perhaps I need to work through The Artist's Way again! I enjoyed the link though, thank you Freda. Springlike here too, but I can't better blue skies and rolling mist on your loch!

Oh! I just love these pieces! How simply delightful on a cold miserable day! I hope you had a wonderful time at the exhibit..and that coffee and a pastry were in the mix also..xox

Sadly the timetables didn't allow for coffee and cake and missing the last bus home by five minutes becuase of road works in Edinburgh meant a complicated journey - but it was worth it! I'm glad you liked them Julia. I have a numver of her cards which I really like.
