Fuchsia 'Genii'

I like the reflection in the glazed black pot (I've just realised it is me, with tripod!) which makes this photo look like a painting. There are water droplets as I've had to water all the pots lately....warm sunshine in Glasgow today.

That's a great picture!! Fuchsias are doing well here too. But they are self watering, courtesy of the Devon sky!

There was talk about 'Code Orange' for Scotland today on the evening news yesterday. Is it as bad as it sounded? The loch restless and the view hazy? Are you still painting on saturdays and sundays? It sounded like a day to be spent indoors. Our rain started in the late afternoon. (The questions came bubbling up all by themselves today).

How strange. It's been a day of gentle rain, calm waters and mist here. I spend more time sorting and sifting than painting these days Cath. Deciding what to keep - it's been an interesting exercise. And you?

Today I have been evaluating a path I 'carved' for myself three months ago. A kind of sifting and sorting also. Deciding what to keep too. After a therapy coming to a disappointing halt, I just knew it was time to create my own route to acceptance, meaningful living and contentment. Part of that route - of course - is letting go. It's interesting, worthwhile and inviting me to carve a little more.

I have had a lovely Sunday doing similar sifting and sorting of ideas and plans for the future....rainy days can be useful! Creating your own route sounds very wise Cath.

I am a very hit and miss photographer, but digital cameras are wonderful - with so many hits you can hardly fail to get the odd good shot!
