Simply..success is a decision....

I am going to stick this motto on my fridge.
Picture

First identify the problem. Since my mystery illness last Sptember I have been below par, with muscle aches and stiffness and low energy levels. I am taking painkillers every day, though fewer and less strong than initially.

So February is about getting to the bottom of this and getting healthy and strong again, and off the painkillers.

On the left hand page of my personal  Fit Book I will copy motivational messages from my books. I think I'll also stick them on my fridge.

Here are some from Louise Parker's Think successfully section. She also has Eat Beautifully, Live Well and Exercise Intelligently. All sounds good to me!

The easiest route is the direct route

Assume success

It's not meant to be hard

Start and just don't stop

Keep positive and inspiring company

That last one describes all the wonderful  readers here! That's why I still blog..

What is stuck on your fridge door? And is it actually helpful?

Freda, I do hope you get to bottom of mystery illness. I didn’t realize there had been so much ongoing from that. You are that positive and inspiring influence for me. Thank you for that. We are all so good for each other and am sending strong healing vibrations for you.

Well, not sure the message on my fridge door is quite what Louise Parker had in mind as it reminds me that " there is nothing better than a good friend - except a good friend with chocolate" 😀. Hoping that you will soon feel fully fit ( with or without chocolate) and doing something about a problem is always the best way to start.

Anything that makes you smile it’s a great thing to have on your fridge Sheena.

I’m in seasonal doldrums. Will be much better with weather changes in a few weeks. Maybe I should make a fridge magnet that reads “ matching pj top and bottom are not a work uniform. Get dressed” Hee
Hope your health improves.

Thank you Gail. I wonder if a mini fun project would help you through until the better weather comes?

Sorry you're having health problems Freda . You must persist with finding a cause. I spent 2 years trying to cope with increasing ill health , always putting it down to ageing . My illness could have been treated at a much less severe stage. Sending you best wishes for full health to enjoy the Spring.!
A fridge magnet with a marmalade cat (Cheshire cat grin ) makes me return his smile everyday . Fridge motto "just do the next thing..." , reminds me to take life one calm and steady step at a time .

She is a lovely friendly person. I know that I’m meeting her at my exhibition. Lovely! With or without chocolate..

Nothing on my fridge but I heard this from an artist, on the radio: 'Patience is a form of action'.
I'm waiting patiently for the light to return, and starting my 'New Year' at Imbolc.
Wishing you well for the investigations to diagnose your muscle symptoms, Freda. (Might you have had sub-clinical covid and not realised?: I've read that upper torso musculoskeletal symptoms are a feature of the latest variant.)

I have wondered if the virus I had was Covid, although to lateral floor tests were negative. Happy New Year!

I am very sorry to hear that you have not yet fully recovered. Sometimes you need to be very persistent to get to the bottom of things. You might want to check out Harpagophytum (Devil's Claw!)and Spirulina for natural pain relief. And small amounts of good quality chocolate of course (no Milky Bars I'm afraid!).

Thank you p Grace. I have found arnica to be a very effective painkiller in the past, but it’s not working this time. I shall keep exploding alternatives. I really only like milk chocolate, :-(

So sorry to hear about your lingering poor health Freda. It is difficult to get attention for non urgent problems at the moment. I hope you find a way to treat yours
