Simply..sunshine!

The first of the tender plants to go out..

and an early evening drink in the sun.

At last.

A whole afternoon of warm sunshine, gentle winds, lovely visitors and a good forecast for the next few days. We watched a great tit, dunnocks and the mother and baby robin hunker down and spread their wings the better to soak up the heat, and I took off two of my usual three layers - yay!

I hope you got some sunshine too, and time to relax in it.

Glad the sunshine was finally delivered - I thought I was going to have to ask for my money back! Nice to hear the robins are doing ok - how many babies have survived Freda?

It's hard to say Lotta - they hop in and out of the hedge and we don't know if we are seeing the same one or different ones - but at least two...

sunshine here in ontario also!..i love the "seeing fresh" view of your yellow window...with the sky reflected in it...that is gorgeous!...and yes, we allwant to know about the robins...:-)

Sunshine for me too. It was welcomed with open arms! So nice to sit on the swing with the author you recommended, Freda, Peter May. Read the first in the Hebrides series...the whole book in a day. Can you tell I enjoyed it? Glad to know there's a new family of robins to watch.

Um sadly no. Ours stopped almost as soon as it arrived. Not quite enough time to relax into it. Glad you got some sun though.
