There are two books by Jennifer Louden on my shelf. Both older mind you: The Woman's Comfort Book and The Woman's Retreat Book. Not read from cover to cover but occasionally over the years I picked something here and there to work with and/or copied as handout for clients. I didn't know she had a website though, so something to investigate, thank you :).
The exercise has to wait a little, I over-concentrated on a postponed (again and again) Kondo task: cataloguing our DVD collection.
Just finished and extremely proud of myself as well as a little worn out.
Maybe go and watch a DVD ...
Hurrah and congratulations! Well done with the DVD's Cath. And I am checking out the Woman's Retreat Book - thank you.
Oh dear, my idea is not worth sticking with...!
Thank you for reminding me about the proms. And that is a wonderful photo - passion, intensity and utter commitment... It's so lovely when you see someone that taken up in the moment.
The photo (event poster) that keeps stopping me in my tracks recently is this one: http://www.ludlowassemblyrooms.co.uk/event.php?id=3540
There's something so exquisitely beautiful about it.
Oh no! Are you sure? (I feel responsible :-( ) Is it the poster of the ballet dancer? I can see why you love it - beautifully composed, utterly simple without any lettering and that shadow! Thanks for sharing.
I think so (about 70% sure), but don't feel responsible Freda :-) it's something I've suspected for a while...
And yes, the ballet dancer poster - it ticks all the boxes for me, I love it!
