These late posies are so precious, partly because we know there won't be many more.

I posted this in August 2010....and this using cosmos leaves in the same way almost exactly a year ago, and had those same 'not yet' feelings in 2011.

I am clearly a seasonal being.

Do you feel attuned to the changing seasons?

Last Thursday, after a rainy morning, as I went out for my walk there was this hint of autumn in the air. There will be more sunny, summery days this week with temperatures up to 25C and still that hint is undeniably there. And I cherish the combination.

Your posies are beautiful in their simplicity - I am reluctant to let go of the summer this year as we have waited so long for it but as autumn silently creeps in I do appreciate the subtle changes that take place daily.
