Simply..the month of May

31/5/2023

..was a very good month.

I focussed on dealing with things which were becoming urgent because I had been ignoring them - repairs, paperwork, unfinished projects etc and although I didn't manage to keep up the pace I began the month with, I did get a lot done.

I had lots of visitors, which I loved.

Our day trip around Argyll's Secret Coast ended with a lovely dinner at Portavadie Marina

How was May for you and what plans do you have for June?

A satisfying and enjoyable month for you, Freda. Hope this continues into the summer and beyond.
We've had a very disturbing May, but I hope there will be a resolution soon.
My solace has been continuing to read your archive - just completed September 2016.It takes a while if I read all the comments and follow the links (some of which no longer exist, of course). What a wonderful community you have assembled, such wise, humorous and inspiring comments from all of you.
I've shared your grief and sadness, been disappointed by the referendum, started to Kondo, looked closely at garden design and delighted in your artist's eye and stunning photographs. Also bought/acquired some of the books you've recommended.
Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments! The comments are intelligent and kind. I absolutely love and appreciate them. They enrich my life with their insights and humour and links to things I would not have discovered. Wonderful.

It sounds as if May ended in a satisfying way for you and the mixture of jobs ticked off the list and fun, sociable events is an excellent mix. I have been very busy in May mostly trying to keep up with the garden but will say there has been a lot of socialising as well do June is my month for doing all the things that have been ignored.

It was a lovely balance. And we are doing opposite Mays and Junes Sheena. I am catching up with the garden this month. Happy June!

That's a lovely mix of work and play ! It's been a medical May for me but there have been sunny days and a garden in bloom which is wonderful. I find your posts uplifting and encouraging so am looking forward to your " romantic" June !

If we can’t be romantic in June, when can we? I shall have to see what I can do. Wishing you good health this month and this summer in your garden. X
