This one was the only one I saw at the bus station in Glasgow last week.
Simply..what do you miss?

I do miss hugs. I miss smiles. can't tell you how many times I've said 'there's a smile behind this mask'.

It's surprisingly hard NOT to hug family and friends when I see them. Smiles also mean so much.

Oh that statue is so “moving”. So many family members I want to fly to and visit 😩. Missing those warm bear hugs.

It's hard isn't it.

Hard weekend in the US with the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. A towering figure of judicial integrity and leader for social justice. The partisan reaction to her death makes me feel an even greater loss of hope (for my country). But, RBG never stopped trying to make things better for all people--even in the face of multiple cancers/surgeries/chemo, the loss of her husband, so many battles--until death took her. Have to keep putting one foot in front of the other. But it may take a while.

Quite a blow for your country Mary. We must try to follow her example in trying to make things better for all the people...

Hugs from friends certainly, the feeling of freedom in wandering into a shop and most of all singing in a choir. I sing in a community choir and we are still meeting on Zoom which is great but nothing like being surrounded by other singers.

I can imagine how you must miss your choir, and it is very sad that children are not allowed to sing in school!
