Tell me I did the right thing.
I photographed a beautiful sky to share with you tonight but they have changed everything and I haven't figured out how to upload it.....I may be gone for some time!

I keep having prompts to 'upgrade' to Windows 10 - and keep putting it off. Husband uses it without problems on his laptop, but it came ready installed. I'm cautious by nature, so will be watching this space to see how you've got on! Good Luck!!

We kept getting those prompts to upgrade & ignored them because we were happy w what w had. Then on thursday, windows 10 upgraded all by itself. J tried to stop it, but the computer took over. In 1 aspect, that was a little scary...make that in all aspects it was scary. What else will it decide to do on its own? After a couple days I'm getting used to it, but I don't do much other than email & blogs. Many of you are way beyond me, computer-wise.

Phew yes, Windows 10. I thought I was the only one left who ignores the upgrade prompts. So good to know I'm not. My husband upgraded his laptop last weekend and still is figuring out things like the wifi connection to his printer that doesn't work anymore.

I am still in denial (e.g. if it's not broken, don't fix it...) and so far have held it off, though the constant prompts are highly annoying. At work, we have been specifically told not to allow the upgrade.

hello all, i plunged into windows 10 about 5 months ago, and really, have not noticed much difference from windows 7....managed to skip 8, thank heavens! you will like it, and i encourage you to go for it! my husband, who seriously prefers to not do computers whenever possible has not even noticed that we now have windows 10 instead of 7. good luck, and put a pencil between your teeth while you are working on your computer...your brain will think you are smiling, and you will cheer up.....:-)

I use a Mac but am being reminded that it is so old now that it is no longer being supported by updates. I now can't load photos onto my blog in Safari and have to use Chrome. It's only a matter of time before that disintegrates too. I'm dreading it. I hope Windows 10 starts behaving for you. You could do without this hassle. . .
