Simply..your word....

..is your bond, you keep your word, the word is God upon my word! There are crosswords and cross words. Lucille writes about words (or lack of them) in this post, being 'wordy' is not usually a compliment. I treasure the comment made by a student at my Drawing for Non Artists course. He said that the course in the evening was 'such a relief from the wordiness of the day'.

I've chosen a 'word for the year' for a number of years now. See here and here

This was my first one I think (2011) and here are some of yours! Remember?

I think I have decided on my word for 2018 but thought it would be fun to try Susannah Conway's free course in choosing a word before I settle on it. Join me?  You can sign up here.

More snow today. I love being in this house when it is snowing. And I've got as far as 'C' in my new address book..

I saw Susannah's course offer a week or so ago on her blog, but hadn't decided whether to do it or not. Will decide tomorrow -- just too tired right now to make any more decisions.

As for your 'Room with A View', I could sit by that window looking out at that scene forever. What am amazing vista. Simply blessed.

It's quite demanding but useful even though I just skimmed it...

I sat at this window to do my address book - I never tire of this view.

Perhaps you need a rest more than you need something else to do!

I loved lucille’s post and the comments..very thought-provoking about how we are bombarded with words everywhere!
I think my word this year will be “space”...as in blank spaces around me..creating space in my life...in my moments...not as in “the cosmos” kind of space!

at first I thought the view was from the loft where Barry hung the light...the 1 you're not yet able to venture to. love your view & how appropriate what Mary called it.

haven't thought of a word yet...need to venture to Suzanne's blog & take a look.

Time enough...this is my view from the north facing sitting room Cathy.

Oh dear, I am often guilty of being wordy!
And yet I'm not very good at sticking to "my" word (though I do keep my word!)...

Gorgeous view <3

I enjoyed your words on the seasonal lights in your town!

My word last year was economise - as our changing circumstances required it. We did cut back a lot but only the figures will tell and I have yet to tot up the full cost of living for this last year but I hope I stuck to my word.
This year I have a whole phrase that constantly keeps popping into my mind - I usually go with whatever is persistent at the time - so it may be more than a word but hey there are no rules…are there?
Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year.
